Maritime Welding Serves Voisey’s BayJanuary 4th, 2004
Bathurst, NB - (January, 2004) Maritime Welding, a leading custom steel fabricating shop located in Bathurst New Brunswick Canada, has translated its expertise in serving the mining business and its proximity to affordable shipping to manufacture and ship more almost two dozen flotation cells to the massive Voisey’s Bay mining project underway in Labrador.
Having developed decades of experience working for Noranda’s Brunswick Mines, Maritime Welding manufactured the very large custom built steel cells commonly used by mining operations at their plant and then shipped by sea from the Port of Belledune, near Bathurst.
General Manager Danny Valley reported that having such long experience helped secure the contract and he looks forward to serving other mining companies.
